Trips Drop ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Trips Drop mobile application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information
When you sign in using Apple Sign-In, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier via Supabase authentication. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" feature, we only receive the relay email address provided by Apple.

Waitlist Information
If you join our waitlist before creating an account, we collect your email address to notify you when the app launches.

Preferences
We store your selected departure airports and currency preference to personalize your deal feed.

Device Information
We collect your push notification token (via Expo Push API) to deliver deal notifications. We may also collect basic device information such as operating system version for compatibility purposes.

Usage Data
We record when you click on affiliate deal links (e.g., to Kiwi.com or Booking.com) in order to track which deals are popular and to attribute affiliate commissions. We also collect anonymous analytics about app interactions to improve our service.

  • To personalize and display relevant flight and hotel deals
  • To send push notifications about deals matching your preferences
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To improve and optimize the Service
  • To provide customer support

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

  • Supabase — Authentication and data storage
  • RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management
  • Apple Sign-In — Account authentication
  • Expo Notifications — Push notification delivery

When you tap a deal to book, you are redirected to third-party booking sites (such as Kiwi.com or Booking.com). These sites have their own privacy policies that govern your interaction with them.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses encryption in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time via your device settings
  • Export your data in a portable format

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The App does not use cookies. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
